Place the thermometer in the birth pool to monitor that the water temperature remains between 36.5°C and 37.5°C.
First, fill the birth pool up to the minimum fill level, which is indicated on the inside of the liner.
This ensures there is enough space to add more warm water during labour.
Filling the birth pool takes approximately 45 minutes.
